Resin Bonded Surfacing
The Resinset™ resin bonded paving is suitable for a wide range of surfacing projects where an attractive, gravel surface, is required.
Resin bonded surfacing is non-permeable and must be laid on a non-porous fine wearing course asphalt or concrete base. With resin bonded paving, soakaways and ACO drains should be installed to prevent run-off which could lead to flooding.
The chosen natural aggregate is liberally scattered to completely cover the resin surface and allowed to dry. Brushing away any loose stone reveals a seamless, pristine surface, ready for years of use. It is important that proper drainage is installed in order to prevent flooding.
Resin Bound Surfacing
The Resinset™ resin bound paving is a fully permeable paving solution which allows water to freely drain through the surface, meeting the requirements of Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS) standards, preventing standing water and largely eliminating surface water run-off.
This system is mixed on site and cold applied. The high-quality resin and aggregates are thoroughly mixed together prior to laying – ensuring that the aggregate is completely coated and so providing a totally bound surface. A resin bound surface is more durable and requires less maintenance.
